The President of The Federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhamadu Buhari says after the completion of his second term in 2023 he would retire to Daura.
Daura which is the home town of Buhari, located in Katsina State, northern Nigeria
The President made this comment on Tuesday while meeting with traditional rulers at the presidential villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.
His words: “This is my second and final term, at the end of which I will, God willing, go to Daura and settle down,” he said.
Meanwhile, the rulers, led by the Sultan of Sokoto and chairman of National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, NCTRN, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III paid the congratulatory visit to the President over his re-election.
