Few hours after the death of Prophet TB Joshua of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), another clergy man was also reported dead in the early hours of Sunday 6th June, 2021.
Reverend Stephen Akinola, The General Overseer of Redemption Ministries Worldwide is dead.
It was reported by BBC Pidgin that the Port Harcourt base clergy, Reverend Stephen Akinola died in the early hours of Sunday 6th June, 2021 at a hospital in Abuja, Nigeria.
The cause of the his death is yet to be known, but it was learnt that Reverend Stephen Akinola recently underwent a kidney transplant surgery and was sick and receiving treatment for a while in a hospital in Abuja.
The death of the clergy man was confirmed on Sunday by the Former Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria and the former Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria Rivers state Chapter, Apostle Eugene Ogu.
Reverend Stephen Akinola died at the age of 68.
