The village of Ruman Tofa in Maru Local Government area of Zamfara State were in a doom after some suspected armed bandits took over the the village, abducting over 70 residence including nursing mothers and children on Wednesday 3rd March.
According to SaharaReporters, the attack was carried out on Wednesday with shootings from the suspected bandits which later went away with foodstuffs, animal and valuables.
Houses and vehicles belonging to villagers were also destroyed and burnt by the rampaging bandits.
“The attack lasted for several hours, the gunmen took at least 70 persons into the forest,” the source said.
